On May 22, a training on Speech development at the age of 0-1 took place in the Voskeporik Development Center of Martuni organized by Artissimo NGO. The training was conducted by Mary Fahradyan, the head of Khnamk informal education platform and mentor, Speech Therapist, and Sensory Integration Specialist of the Voskeporik Development Center.
Parents of the children of Voskeporik Development Center participated in the training.
Emphasizing the development of the child’s speech and the parent’s involvement in it, some important issues were discussed, and exhaustive answers were given to the questions of the parents.
Once again, the specialist presented the stages of normal speech development and its importance.
The most effective form of a child’s speech development is communication with the outside world. During any activity of the child, it is necessary to encourage his desire to express himself and speak and to give the child the opportunity to communicate freely.
Due to the seminar, the parents strengthened their knowledge on children’s speech development and expressed their desire to apply the acquired knowledge.
