Artyom Hakobyan was born on July 27, 2017, in the village of Malishka, Vayots Dzor region. Artyom is the first child in the family. According to his mother, he was a very active and at the same time very calm child, he was in the center of attention, often too much. At the age of 2, the child’s speech deficiency was noticed, but the necessary control in this regard was not carried out, because Artyom was diagnosed with cancer. The child and the family went through a long and difficult path of treatment for almost 2 years.
“During that time, both Artyom and we were in a difficult psychological situation, and went through a lot of stress, which had a great impact on Artyom’s speech and development. During the days of treatment, the child even lacked speech” emphasizes the mother.
Thank God, Artyom overcame cancer at the age of 4. Parents turn to the Voskeporik Development Center, where, due to intensive work, positive dynamics is observed in the child within a year.
