On July 8, 2016, the Beacons were hosted by the composer Maestro Areg Lusinyan, an honored artist of the Republic of Armenia. Full of light, warmth, and life, his small house museum has a rich cultural heritage. The Beacons listened attentively to the maestro as he told them about interesting and meaningful times in his life. He spoke about his career path as a composer, important events and meetings with different people, people who made valuable impressions on that path.

Areg Lusinyan enjoyed the performances of the Beacons musicians. Nane, a painter, gave the maestro a small drawing of his birthplace, Akhaltskha’s St. Nshan Church. The maestro also had a gift for the children – some books and albums from his children’s works.
