On June 18th, continuing the 2016 workshops, the Beacons invited children to participate in their regular meeting held by members of the national vocal and dance group Masnuk. This time, everyone met in the Folk Art Museum where, surrounded by handmade carpets and rugs and a friendly environment, Masunk presented the approaching much-loved holiday – Vardavar – with traditional song and dance.

The workshop was filled with song, dance, and games. Children learned and then performed simple but profound songs and dances inherited from their ancestors.
